Hello, I had a quick question regarding Annual Training and MOS qualifications. I will be going to ETC next week, and I do not have an MOS. I am currently a 09U, but I was wondering if the month long AT could count as my MOS school considering how long it is?

I believe this day and age you must attend a sanctioned school, they can't just award you an MOS for annual training.

09S is your MOS until you attend a course based on your commission or an enlisted MOS producing school.

The only time I've ever heard of anyone being awarded an MOS by the Army without going to an AIT is if they transition from another service and they held a similar or equivalent MOS. Example: 2A5X2 coming from the Air Force to the Army and being awarded 15T.
