Regarding the vaccine program, what plans are underway to ensure that everyone on the planet can get vaccinated within a year?

At the present rate of production and funding of poor nations, it will take four years to get everyone vaccinated. Meanwhile, travel will be restricted and variants will continue to emerge, for which new vaccines will need to be developed.

I think the sad reality of life is that not everyone will be able to be vaccinated. This is why we still have polio around and we've had a polio vaccination program through the WHO since the 1950s. It's just one of the unfortunate inequalities of this world. I do think, however, that we should do all we can, and if we can get about 70% of the world vaccinated that would be relatively effective. I am just grateful to live here. Even while deployed there were days that I just had to tell myself, It's a great day to be an American. Still, we should try.

Sir, you ask the most complicated of questions. I would advice searching the WHO for information. With the US's current debt load, I would not want to hear we are footing the bill to get other countries vaccinated.
