I honestly don't know if this will ever be clarified...you will have those who believe there was Russian interference, then you will have those who will claim the fake news aspect...but as far as actual proof...not likely.

What is the interference of which you speak? Did the have an effect on the outcome? - unlikely. Did they expose some truths that hurt Hillary? - surely.

The only hack was into emails that exposed the true nature of HRC, it is not clear that the Russians had anything to do with that, but lets pretend that they did. What they exposed was her criminal and immoral activity, and that of the DNC.

I think your survey needs a third answer. Non-news. In my opinion it should be as much of a surprise that they attempted to shape the news, as me stating that water is wet. It would be news if we could show that they were directly fiddling with the numbers (hacked the voting Machines, bribed electors, paid for votes, etc. etc.). If so, I think we should castrate them economically and employ third party bad guys to pee in their borscht.

If Russia was made up why did Flynn get the axe? Putin's cyber-factions (Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear) have used specific methods to gain information in the past. There's something to this and I'm interested in seeing what comes out of the rabbit hole.

Could Russia hack our IS infrastructure? Sure. Did they? Probably. Did they do it to sway the election? I doubt it. The effort involved would outweigh the gain. It's more likely that people are looking for a reason why President Trump won a presidency that everyone assumed was already Hillary's, and settled on our decades-old foe.

The Intel Report would be more believable had they not recorded a conversation between a civilian and Russian diplomat and illegally given them to the media. Again, as with the FBI, destroyed their credibility. Why can't the rest of us see transcripts without the MSM filter?

From everything I've heard there is broad consensus among our intelligence agencies that Russia did in fact interfere with our election. Unlike the President I choose to believe those experts.

It is really two different questions IMO. Did Russians hack the DNC? Probably. Did they influence the election? Doubtful.

If the Russians influenced the election, how did they accomplish it? Hacking the DNC isn't an answer, because that just demonstrates the DNC was compromised, and if it was the Russians who hacked it, then the Russians had the information. But that doesn't explain how the election was influenced. There have been no credible claims that voting machines or voting systems were hacked, so the only other theory is that voters were influenced by some other means in large enough numbers to sway the outcome of the election.

Presumably, that means Wikileaks. The problem there is that the Wikileaks people say they got the information from an insider, not from the Russians. If that is true, then the entire theory of Russian manipulation of our election falls apart.

Not sure why it is so hard to believe that Russia could have influenced our election process through information operations to spread disinformation. Hell I'm willing to believe US Intelligence sources. Then again, there are plenty of American based organizations that most likely did the same thing. I will say any influence wasn't key to why Democrats lost; not even in the top 5 reasons.

What is fake news is this continued statement that his 306 electoral vote victory is one of the largest margin of victories in election history; it didn't even crack the top 50 percentile.

I'm sure they tried to influence the election, just like our government was interfering in several other foreign elections, e.g., Israel's. That said, I think the liberal media with the rino never-trumpers blew it out of proportion to delegitimize the Trump election to stir up anti-trump support.

I've got to go with those who are calling "no news". I cannot think of an election in my life where someone wasn't trying to influence the outcome. Soviets, Great Britain, Cuba, the Germans, just as we have done. Similar to the Putin's boat cruising off the East Coast, one of the first briefings I had when I checked into an Air Station in N. Carolina in 1968 was that telephone and radio security was a primary concern because of the Soviet trawler off the coast monitoring all our our calls and transmissions. It's all news depending upon the political point you want to make.
