Reporting and issue

I have a question? If you have a valid issue and your assigned IG( through brigade ) has not come and followed up or even responded to your complaints, what would be the next step? Who can you turn to when your command has failed to take care of the issue and your IG has done nothing?

Go back to the IG and ask why. Then go to you COC using the open door policy if necessary and ask the same questions. If you don't get the answers you seem appropriate go to higher. Not sure what you mean by assigned IG? We have no IG at the Brigade level - they work for the division.

I really can't give you further guidance from this viewpoint. It is more involved and I would not begin to think I understand all the surrounding factors from both sides. It does sound like it may be a command climate issue. Just try to provide the best leadership possible for your Soldiers and help them be successful. They are hopefully removed from the situation through echelons of leadership. Don't transfer the negativity down through frustration. Again, keep trying to do the best you can and continue to work the issue through proper channels.
