Now, I am positive some of these are rhetorical questions and are leading as well. The OFFICE of President deserves the greatest reverence but who in here in their heart believe these questions are really sincere.
To buttress this assertion, consider the fact that one "questioner" implied that the UCMJ should apply. That person left after posting the question and this tread is NOT an anomaly!
And further, for those have a legitimate and not political purpose it diminishes the thread and escalates into what amounts to a 'taunt'.
A recent question touted the absolute opinion of how great President Obama is. The current question is done respectfully and I appreciate that but one can see how others in a different party feel put off.
What is your take and please no negativity about the President but those behind the deception? Should assertions go unchallenged?

I picked Sean Penn, because, well, Sean Penn! Two points: 1. We in the military do not give up our constitutional right to free speech broadly, but we do yield some of our rights to help protect and defend the constitution we have sworn to protect and defend. So, debate can and should continue, but: 2. Do not disrespect or denigrate the office of the Presidency or of our other civilian leaders. And President Obama is currently cloaked in that office. You may dislike or hate any or all of his policies (I dislike almost all of them), but stick to policies...not the office, or the man...if you want to stay safe.

I would like an "other" selection choice SSgt (Join to see). I think that people who lean towards progressive/liberal philosophy are behind the efforts in general. Most are probably sincere democrats while others are career politicians which also includes democrats.

LTC Stephen F. Fair enough but there is a clear trend that seems out of whack. In otherwords, guys who come on here to stifle free speech.

SSgt (Join to see) - I meant to click sincere democrats but I clicked on respond before I made a selection. I tend to avoid the hardcore political discussions because there are so many almost rabid Obama supporters on this net. Some are very reasonable but many twist his record. I pray for President Obama.
