However, I was told that my spouse could not get her ID at this time without explanation. Is anyone from customer service on this site that could give me further or better explanation? When you made the appointment did you make it for both? <br />Back in the day you could just walk in, now everything is filled out online and appointments are made. <br />Prefer the old days.Response by CMSgt James Nolan made Aug 6 at 2020 8:32 PM2020-08-06T20:32:17-04:002020-08-06T20:32:17-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member6182839<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I walked in last week and was told they were not issuing ID cards that weren't expired and even ones that were had an extension due to COVID - trying to minimize activity in the office. Later in the week I saw a message come out that all RAPIDS sites were having issues with the CAC making system. Haven't heard if it has been resolved.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 7 at 2020 10:50 AM2020-08-07T10:50:29-04:002020-08-07T10:50:29-04:00SGM Bill Frazer6183082<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If her ID has not expired, then they wont issue/extend it. You will have to take her back when it gets close to the expiration date.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Aug 7 at 2020 12:07 PM2020-08-07T12:07:38-04:002020-08-07T12:07:38-04:00MAJ Ronnie Reams6183251<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My wife has always had a better experience going to a NG Armory or Reserve center. Rather than going to an active base. Closer and not as many folks. They have access to all the computer stuff. I lost mine once and went to NG and had it replaced post haste. She has to do it a couple more times and at 72, I believe, she gets an indef card.<br /><br />You, her sponsor, has to be there, too.Response by MAJ Ronnie Reams made Aug 7 at 2020 1:05 PM2020-08-07T13:05:08-04:002020-08-07T13:05:08-04:00SP5 Peter Keane6183682<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your wife does not need one if it has not expired.
