Post 911 veterans can now get help with dealing with PTSD, TBI and MST. At K9sforwarriors.org they can help warriors with getting paired with a service dog for those coping with these issues. My battle buddy and I have made great strides in helping back out from the isolation and reluctance to get help. Warrior trainers and the campus are great!!! They truly care about thier k9 rescue dogs and warriors alike. Saving two lives at once. They saved mine!!!

Best resource that i've found in Texas is the Texas Veterans Commission. They help with education, employment, claims, and help starting a business. You can go into any of the Texas Workforce employment offices, and they have a TVC Employment Rep there to assist.

Also if you are looking to buy land, check out the Texas Veterans Land Board. They do land loans, home loans, home improvement loans, and oversee the Texas State Veterans Home and Texas State Veterans Cemeteries.
