If you choose military science as a minor that could add a few more semesters. Plan out what courses you will take in what semesters. You need to coordinate that plan with your MS Professors. Keep them in the loop. I was able to finish my AFROTC program a little early by doubling up on some courses and taking a special summer AFROTC class. It was a unique arrangement set up by my Professor of Aerospace Studies. I would come to his office one or two times per week and I would have to brief him on the reading lessons that I had the previous week. They were willing to work with me so I could complete my program. I graduated in March, was commissioned the same day, and was on active duty 2 weeks later. A side benefit was that I had an early date-of-rank for my year group and was usually promoted within a few months after the promotion list came out.
