Roughly when should I receive a new assignment when returning from a three-year tour in Germany?

Currently stationed in Germany on three year tour. DEROS is 16 Sep 22. ETS date is 31 May 23. Is there a rough estimate when I should receive an assignment notification? And is my ETS being eight months after my DEROS going to affect anything (I haven't fully decided if I want to reenlist or not)?

NLT 6 months from your DEROS. And yes, you can’t PCS with less than a year until your ETS. If you decide to get out, you will be IFSTE and extended each month until your ETS

Get with your Retention NCO (should have been your first stop). At some point, you will have to do an extension
