School plays wrong Army song! Should I be mad?

My kid's school was celebrating Veteran's Day this year and all the veteran family members were invited. Front row seat, in the middle! I was there and it truly was an honor. Well as each branch song played the veterans of that branch would stand and be recognised! Pretty cool. But when it's the Army's turn, the "Caisson Song" was played! If you're Army you know it's about the same as the Army Song, It originated from it though. So, should I be mad? I told them last year it was the wrong song and they didn't change it this year! What do you all think?

I don't know that I would allow it to weigh too much on me. You can discretely correct the administration of their error, especially if they are going to perform this again in the future.

Are they just singing the caisson lyrics as opposed to the Army Song lyrics or changing the arrangement totally? If the song sounded completely different, I think I'd be annoyed especially if you already corrected them on the issue.

I don't think I would be upset. Their intentions were good and they were attempting to do the right thing. I may say something in passing but I probably would not because I would not want to detract from the experience for the students.
