As long as they have a permit for concealed carry, they should be legal off base. Unfortunately the military does not recognize the permits on base, so on installation, they will have to meet all regulations for transportation of personal weapons on base. You can request to conceal carry in uniformthrough channels, I do not remember if you can open carry in unform unless you are performing official functions such as transffering weapons  SFC Daniel Faires Tue, 01 Apr 2014 19:22:58 -0400 2014-04-01T19:22:58-04:00 Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 4 at 2019 1:09 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/senior-nco-advice-needed-concealed-carry-in-uniform-off-post?n=4696382&urlhash=4696382 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have a conceal and carry. My C&amp;C is recognized by 32 states. However, Fort Bragg doesnt care. No installation does. You still have to go through the briefings and paperwork for your installation. Off post is off post. If it is a legal permit, doesnt matter your clothes. <br />**** Best advice, go speak to installation PMO*** 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 04 Jun 2019 13:09:16 -0400 2019-06-04T13:09:16-04:00 Response by 2LT Gerald Dominy made Nov 27 at 2019 12:51 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/senior-nco-advice-needed-concealed-carry-in-uniform-off-post?n=5282223&urlhash=5282223 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Military bases are considered Federal properties..thus subject to Federal laws and regulations.
