I had the honor to meet this young man when he was a bright eyed boot newly stationed in Camp Lejeune. Whether he died from a accidental or purposeful overdose we will never know but what I do know is the USMC failed him miserably. When is PC over the top when it comes to those who deployed time and time again.
I wrote this article and hope while delving into the cause of death honored him as well.

There have been many RallyPoint members who have sought ways to recognize impactful individual service members and veterans who have passed either in combat or after their military career.
It is not practical to recognize every individual with a separate discussion, but we are happy to host those posts on this central thread.
You are invited to post responses here about individual service members and veterans that you wish to honor.
