Im torn. Judge is threatening Maris and tied Ruth (both are personal faves), and Ohtani tied a record held by Ruth for pitching wins and home runs.
With the Angels out of the playoffs, I think Judge is more the MVP. For the Yankees and the league.

CSM Chuck Stafford What really astounds me is Judge tied Ruth with 50 less plate appearances and in 147 games. Ruth had 154 games and Maris had 162.
If Judge gets 61 in 154 games or less, there goes the record book asterisk.

I'm leaning Ohtani as what he is doing is unprecedented, but I can see Judge winning on sentimentality --- 60 is a magical number
