Should cooks be allowed to collec bas? What should be reasons to collect bas besides being married?

Is this a local policy that specifies 92G, Food Service Specialists, cannot receive Basic Allowance for Subsistence (BAS)?

I understand certain jobs being too busy to make it to the DFAC (supply/orderly room clerk), but whats stopping the people that work at the DFAC from eating there? Serious question.

All of my Soldiers do not have meal cards because they are on flight status. They fly nights, weekends, and whenever the mission or training dictates. I have gotten all single Soldiers residing in the barracks exceptions to policy to be removed from "meal card status". If they end up getting removed from flight status, then their meal cards are reinstated for the DFAC.
