Okay, just to continue the funny trend of saluting, here's this one. What do you think? CPT (Join to see)

No Sir, he's Navy so Train tracks are still LTs. He was just saying that Respect is earned, so I informed him that in the Army Officers don't live and work with lower Enlisted Soldiers like in the Navy. So we learn to Respect the Rank because most of the time we have no personal knowledge of the Officers we meet. But he was cool about it.

A lieutenant is nothing but an overpaid private and if they act as such, they get treated as such

I truly just laughed out loud. Of course not. Wives or spouses are not entitled to that military curtsey. I will say this... I have met those "spouses" who think they should be. Great picture

A1C Vicki Pierce - that's a hard one because you never know if the service member who belongs to that sticker is in the car.

SGT Alicia Brenneis - That's true, but after working gates for awhile you get to know certain officers vehicles and the officers that drive them. So you know if it's them driving or their dependents...

Some dependents feel that the service members rank extends to them. I remember a full knock down and drag out between two wives because the wife with a lower ranking husband would not follow orders given by the wife with a higher ranking husband.

My friends and I had a Colonel's 17 year old son try to chew us out for not saluting him while he was driving his daddy's car. He had the nerve to make a u-turn, stop in front of us and get OUT of the car to let us know that we didn't salute him. Even demanded that we salute him right there. Well, when all was said and done, he looked like he wanted to salute us Lance Corporals. Dependents need to be schooled by their spouses or parents before they get their feelings hurt by the wrong ones.

CPT (Join to see) Haha I could have sworn that picture of Morpheus originally had an "in" not an "is".
