Should a Guardsman be allowed to wear OCP if he hasn't attended BCT yet? He only has branch and nametapes on the OCPs along with the Flag patch. As a guardsman you swear into service automatically so should he be allowed to wear it? hes completely in regs. He does already have a CAC issued.

Is he a member of the U.S. Army? If so, then he is subject to AR 670-1, which doesn’t place any restrictions on it. Stay in your lane, and stop trying to be a blue falcon to another kid because he has a cooler toy.

If the unit issues and expects the RSP Soldiers to wear it. Then they wear it. Why are you concerned with it? You should be concerned about claiming to be a 13J, when you surely have not earned that, since you just enlisted in February.

Of course, Rotc and JROTC wear uniforms, and they haven't been to basic or AIT yet.
