Should a memorial braclet that is very scuffed and scratched up be retired for the purpose of replacement?

To me, when I see one that is scuffed and scratched such as yours, it tells me that you truly do honor this person by rarely (if ever) removing it. Personally, I say keep wearing it until you can no longer easily see the name and dates.

I don't wear one... so my opinion is not worth much.... If i did wear one, Id not replace it..regularly due to wear and tear.. Damage, perhaps..
I have mementos from all of my fallen,, some I carry daily, some I just retain...none will ever be replaced as...they can not be. I had someone try and take my car keys once, on that key ring is a momento.. they simply could not understand the strength to which I opposed them taking the keys and doubtfully could not comprehend the level to which I was willing and able to use in order to retain that item (no, alcohol was not involved..likely is was a ham fisted attempt to gain access to the car or steal it outright)
