It's a tiny bit of uniqueness reserved for those commissioned, and I believe they've earned that.<br>Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 10 at 2014 9:57 PM2014-03-10T21:57:38-04:002014-03-10T21:57:38-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member103091<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>MSG, I say we NCOs wear our rank proudly on our sleeves in ASUs. The DUI adds uniformity within the Enlisted.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 15 at 2014 7:25 PM2014-04-15T19:25:28-04:002014-04-15T19:25:28-04:00SGT Edward Thomas404340<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Absolutely not. I think honestly the black beret should be taken away from the Army because it panders to those with self esteem issues. If they want to wear a beret go to Airborne school and an airborne assignment. If they want to wear a ranger beret you know the deal. By giving the Army a special headgear you have cheapened the headgear of those whom have earned the right to wear one. I spent 11 years in leg land trying to go to airborne school all along the way. When I got an airborne assignment then I got the school. Then I had earned the right to wear a special headgear. When everyone is "special" no one is special.Response by SGT Edward Thomas made Jan 6 at 2015 10:39 AM2015-01-06T10:39:03-05:002015-01-06T10:39:03-05:00COL William Oseles2705092<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Unit Crest as I recall.<br />After all, would not want to be mistaken for a 2LT.Response by COL William Oseles made Jul 5 at 2017 10:10 PM2017-07-05T22:10:24-04:002017-07-05T22:10:24-04:00SSgt Boyd Herrst2954745<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It would defeat the purpose of being stealthy.. geez..Response by SSgt Boyd Herrst made Sep 28 at 2017 1:13 PM2017-09-28T13:13:15-04:002017-09-28T13:13:15-04:00SSgt Boyd Herrst2954760<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Sgt ThomAs is spot on with his opining .. <br />a big HOOAH to SGT Thomas !Response by SSgt Boyd Herrst made Sep 28 at 2017 1:16 PM2017-09-28T13:16:49-04:002017-09-28T13:16:49-04:00PFC Boyd Badgett2977018<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Officers should the only ones to wear tank on the berryResponse by PFC Boyd Badgett made Oct 6 at 2017 8:58 PM2017-10-06T20:58:57-04:002017-10-06T20:58:57-04:00MSG John Duchesneau5844159<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Personally, I don't see the need.
