Should former Admiral Thomas Lynch be punished for targeting military members with predatory loans? He and his company NewDay USA target military members with predatory tactics and loans. He has been fined for his actions.

He should get the standard civilian punishment for his actions. No more or no less than anyone else who committed the same crimes.

You ask if he should be punished then go on to say he has already been fined...

One of the things that the company does is when you get removed from mailing list. They change your mailing name. So first time it is “John Smith” second time “John S.” Third “John John” fourth “ J. Smith”. The company then say they don’t have the name on their no-mailing list.

Most legitimate companies will stop after the first or second time. Multiple consumer watchdogs have them on their radar because the specifically target veterans.
