If it's true the CJCS informed the Chinese that he would warn them of nuclear attack should he face court martial or tried for treason? If he called just to inform them that the US arsenal was secure after Jan 6th, should he face any repercussions?

Based on what I've read about this - even from FoxNews - he never had any "secret" meeting without approval. Both Esper and Miller approved the two calls he made to the China defense chief. He didn't say he'd warn them of any nuclear attack. They were concerned because they were getting crappy intel that there was going to be some kind of attack by America - and there wasn't. So he was reassuring them that intel was wrong. And then reassured them after Jan 6 that things were not falling apart in the US. That's it.

Also there's no way to charge him with treason when we aren't in declared war against a declared enemy.

This has been addressed on multiple threads. If Congress wants to look into it with whatever authority they can, go ahead. But there's really no way to charge him with treason based on what I've read.

I agree we need to not rush to justice. We need to make sure Bob Woodward did not embellish or exaggerate the discussion.

In my opinion, Gen. Milley, the Sec of State, the National Security Advisor, the Sec of Defense should have resigned due to POTUS not having a good and secure plan for leaving Afghanistan and keeping a small QRF and Baghram Air Force Base.

This was totally preventable. President Biden undid every single thing that President Trump on his first day in office. For 6 months he let the Taliban take over each Afghan province 1 by 1 without US counterattacks like Trump would have done. This goes with inept 46 not wanting to want to help the Vietnamese government when he was a young senator in 1975 so his attitude has been horrible against our allies since day one. President Biden should be held accountable for what happened and not blame it on his predecessor.

SSG Russell Busicchia - You may have missed the several wars that our government has been involved in for the past couple of decades. We have a war on terror, war on illiteracy, war on drugs, war on poverty, and a couple of more wars that Congress has claimed for a long time. Granted, they may not have followed the normal process we have come accustomed to and many will state that the US hasn't declared war since WWII. But when Congress declares it in political speeches, funds it in annual budgets, allocates civilian and military forces, coordinates with allies, then we should consider treason and espionage are valid charges.
