Yes! Highly recommended! The school house is about a 20 minute drive from the barracks. You could carpool with others, but you will feel better having your own and not relying on others. Plus you will also have transport to go to all the different locations they will put out for formation. Once the duty day is over and your have your weekends, you can drive into the city or Tucson. I believe it says something like, transportation will be provided to the student, but you can bring your POV. I don’t recall seeing anything in my orders about POV authorization. Although, I had to get permission from my prior BN CSM to drive out to Huachuca. Last time I was there, (Jan 2018) school house didn’t care if you drove your POV. It’s definitely better than riding on the bus with initial entry soldiers.
