Should I call MEPS to see about my eye appointment?

Would you guys suggest calling Meps to see if they scheduled my consult? Or just wait to hear back from the recrutiers.

MEPS generally will not answer inquiries from applicants, they will refer you back to your recruiter. Have you talked to the station commander yet? The person directly in charge of the recruiter you are working with?

PFC Private RallyPoint Member contact your recruiter, brother. They have a direct line to the liaison, who can walk down the hall to nudge the docs.

Instead of staying on the liaison I think they just going with the flow. Since I have a situation and the recruiter told me that they'll work fast to get me back in. I don't think they have the same enthusiasm because of the waivers I have to get.

As stated here I recommend you contact your recruiter and convey your concerns. Also, ask for the status. I also recommend face to face to assist in your conviction.

The liaison cannot make your appointment happen any faster than it will. Just because MEPS is scheduling your appointment doesn’t mean there’s an opening yet

You can try, but when they find out that you’re not a recruiter, Station Commander, 1SG, Company Commander or OPS personnel they are going to simply refer you back to your recruiter. It’s like calling HR after you’ve had a job interview to see if you got the job, it just doesn’t work that way. Sorry, best of luck with your consult.
