Should I make the trip over to West Point to speak to officers about WOFT? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-i-make-the-trip-over-to-west-point-to-speak-to-officers-about-woft <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have a friend over at New York that I could potentially stay with, I am seriously considering making a trip to NY to consult some people at West Point since I am only a high schooler. Any thoughts about this? Thank you! It’s always good to get first hand information from actual aviators. Make sure that you develop a good list of questions that you’ll like to ask, that way you don’t forget. Good luck! Also, if you want to chat you can always send me a message. Your best bet is to contact someone at a National Guard base near you or an active Army Base. I could be wrong about West Point. High school to flight school is your local recruiter. West Point makes officers and while some go aviation, it is not their focus. You could meet actual pilots and possibly get LORs WO1 Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 16 Jan 2019 10:06:22 -0500 2019-01-16T10:06:22-05:00 2019-01-15T22:17:42-05:00
