Sir if the benefits you want to keep you have to do the time. I have no idea how long you have to reach the 20 mark but it could be very well worth it. If you&#39;re looking at the Guard the respective states usually have postings on their websites of part time and full time positions available. The Benefits are to be able to retire with CPT retirement pay (higher 36 month pay) and use TA to complete my masters for free without future time obligation.
