An ARCOM for changing duty stations? I would think a LOA or if you really did something to get noticed an AAM would be more appropriate. To me it seems if your character of service warranted an ARCOM it would have been awarded long before your PCS. 1SG Alan Boggs Sat, 22 Feb 2020 15:09:52 -0500 2020-02-22T15:09:52-05:00 Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 22 at 2020 4:48 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-i-still-fight-for-my-pcs-award-or-forget-about-it?n=5588879&urlhash=5588879 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>“I submitted” my own PCS award during the first week of July 2019. That&#39;s what they want you to do since your no longer within the unit. If you have someone of rank to correspond with back in your old unit, pls, do so if you trust them enough to support you. A while back when I was still in the military, I had PCS&#39;s from Korea to stateside and my Adjutant wanted to give me a down-grade from ARCOM to an AAM. Amazingly enough, I had a great PAC Supervisor, that had my best interest at heart, I will never forget him. My PAC Supervisor mailed my ARCOM to my home address. If it wasn&#39;t for him, the incompetent Adjutant we had, I would&#39;ve gotten nothing. The Adjutant in my Brigade had short woman syndrome. Everyone that was taller and better looking than her, female wise was treated harshly. Get your Award, you deserve it, hopefully, you have someone back at you old unit with some rank to support you in this matter. Good Luck :-) .
