<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Good question. It might be beneficial by branch/functional area in the combat arms arena. Not sure it would benefit WOs or other Os. Some branches have traditional incentive awards and honors for their contributions above and beyond.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Would it enhance or distract from the mission?<br /><br />My gut tells me it would be a distraction.<br /><br />On the enlisted side, boards &amp; "matches" are generally specifically tailored to a very narrow purpose, with a very specific goal. These enhance the mission, rather than detract from it.<br /><br />On the Officer side, I think the opposite would hold true.<br /><br />Again, this is just a gut reaction, and I think it comes from the Officer corps being so much smaller than the Enlisted side. I don't think the pros are going to outweigh the cons.
