Should or could we Remove all tax exempt status from all Churches and for profit corporations?

I think there are certain churches that definitely should not receive tax exempt status but churches like ones I’ve worked with for my ministry mission and the ones I grew up with perform a lot of assistance to those in need that probably saves some future government welfare money. Don’t ask me though how to design policy to discriminate ones from the other. As for profit corporations or entities that specialize in services that do not necessarily have the consensus approval of the public, I don’t see why these receive tax exempt or any kind of monetary support from the government. Create a well run and competitive entity that can compete in the marketplace and you should not need these perks anyway.

At one time the local church mission was to help in the communities they are located in. They provided food And clothing for those in need. But when you have nonprofit making millions of dollars and only caters to elites but poor person won’t be receive there services like nursing homes in that case they should be taxed. For others depends on the service they render to the public.

Yes. And from political parties, NGOs, and all the rest.

There should not be a tax exempt status for ANYONE.

If you are TRULY a non-profit, show us your books. If you have no income, you have no tax. Aside from sales tax, which goes to the local community, and should still be paid.
