Just you both have a common goal does not mean you're both going to go about it the same way. Although my pay grade doesn't understand why they made this appointment I guess it's going to work if places like PACOM in Hawaii and army posts like Ft Hood [Canadian Deputy CG] do it. But I'd look at it very closely now that we've had the top CIA kicked out of Germany as well as the whole Ed Snowden mess. When collations are put together we always put the must manpower in. So I believe our commanders should always be in command. JMHO.
