CH (MAJ) William Beaver 544752 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Recently it was announced that Burger King corporate headquarters were moving to Canada to avoid paying U.S. business taxes. Many companies have done this. Burger King is a prominent business in PXs across US Army posts. Should businesses on post such as those at the PX be American-based, American-owned, or does it even matter? Should PX businesses be American-based? 2015-03-22T02:40:40-04:00 CH (MAJ) William Beaver 544752 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Recently it was announced that Burger King corporate headquarters were moving to Canada to avoid paying U.S. business taxes. I think that some things the military contracts for could be worked into the negotiations that they have a Tax Basis to be eligible for consideration for providing services or products to the armed services.
