Yes, those of us who attend are spending a lot of money traveling and supporting Rally Point. How can you better influence those around you than seeing them in person....

Disclaimer: I don't yet know what the points mean or the value of each point, so I chose 1,000 points in the vote for no other reason than it was an available choice. I am very new to RP.

This is a regional event. If it were an online event, that's one thing, but the cost alone to fly if you aren't in the area already is too much for 90% of the community.

I'm not going to gain any sorts of points on here. I'm going to spend with some of those from the RP community that I have gotten to know. I am thankful and lucky enough to be able to fly down and attend the conference. I'm sort of on the side of COL Private RallyPoint Member, it might be unfair to award points.

Not everyone can afford the time off or the airfare especially if you are stationed overseas.

No but you should be able to redeem your points at the door for awesome prizes like a RP Kazoo, or battery operated PT belt.

I think so. I mean, why not? The face-to-face networking has an even greater impact than anything that happens online, and that should be reflected on the profile.
