Should RallyPoint expand the "Civilian Employment" tab to show employment opportunities with higher level organizations such as Lockheed?

Looking over the Civilian Employment tab on RP, I see very little areas of real interest. Though, the offered positions are better than none, I believe there are many better positions available to Veterans. By expanding the employment opportunities offered to Veterans and those looking to transition out of the military, RallyPoint could become a much more valuable resource. Reaching out to higher level companies for employment listings and allowing them to post positions on RallyPoint could be mutually beneficial in a major way. veterans and Active Duty could see what positions are available and employers could see exactly who is available and the caliber of employee they are getting. How many of you would like to see higher level employment opportunities such as Lockheed Martin, SPAWAR, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, DoD, etc?

I am in Colorado Springs I work for Colorado Springs Utilities . My employer wants to recruit Vets and there have been several entry level jobs that can lead to fantastic careers In the utilities that I would like to relay to tose getting out. If Rally point did better to provide such an area on the site I would use it to help my bothers and sisters getting out of the service.

Offering employment opportunities at organizations such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, SPAWAR, etc. would help the veteran community, and those transitioning out of the military, tremendously! As stated above, I think if RallyPoint reached out to these higher level organizations and got them on board for recruiting opportunities, RP would become an incredible valuable asset. I think the membership numbers would skyrocket!

I think it could be very beneficial but what types of employment opportunities would be offered? Would there be things for say Nursing? Or would it be business related? Everything?? How would such a beast of a side mission would that actually be? That could almost be it's own website.

Also, remember that job postings are just one way to use RP to find open roles. We have 10K+ employers represented by Vets here. Search Google, Tesla, Boeing, Amazon, SpaceX and many others...you'll see we have vets working at all these world class companies. Networking with these vets will help your chances exponentially more than a job posting.

In the meantime, here is just a sample of major companies posting jobs on RallyPoint today: Ball Aerospace, Shell, Ford, The Home Depot, Premise Health, Sallyport & Time Warner Cable. Stay tuned for many more in the future.

Absolutely.... If there are "military friendly" employers, they should not be afraid to include themselves. The inclusion of all employers would be a great benefit to all veterans and current military members.

I am looking into using Rally Point for posting. So if I start positing for Contract positions with the companies mentioned above, would you be as interested as if they were direct placements? They are usually a good foot in the door and some are OCONUS.
