While LEO&#39;s are similar to military in many respects, there&#39;s enough differences that I feel it would be overall detrimental to the RP community to expand membership to them. I do feel that a site of similar format for emergency responders would be beneficial (if one doesn&#39;t already exist), however, think it should take the form of an entirely different website. I enjoy the shared connection I can have with people on here because of the shared military experience. When on patrol in the jungle or in the streets I always knew what partners I could count on. The law enforcement community is Para- Military I wore both uniforms with pride, and just served different roles. No matter your views there are bad soldiers, bad people and bad cops, but over all they love this country and are trying to do the right thing. When others are running from gun fire they are running in Just like you would do. Remember when your family is in danger and you are not there to protect them they will show up and they also will risk their lives to protect your child.
