<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Why not state-issued awards on the ASU? Why not Boy Scout merit badges? Why not an actual martial arts belt from a Gi? <br /><br />The Army should keep quirky uniform items to a minimum. Not start operating on the, ‘well they get to, so I want to’ principle.SGT Private RallyPoint MemberSun, 13 Jan 2019 19:18:03 -05002019-01-13T19:18:03-05:00Response by SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 14 at 2019 7:26 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If it was authorized in 670-1 then Yes, but till this day I already think the Army is way to overboard on what is allowed on uniforms. But I would never wear my Green belt in OCP's. I think its ridiculous when I see people wear all crazy types of belts. But most the time no one is going to notice what belt you have on.SFC(P) Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 14 Jan 2019 07:26:32 -05002019-01-14T07:26:32-05:00Response by SGT Joseph Gunderson made Jan 14 at 2019 7:36 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Last I heard leather belts unless worn by General Officers were not regulation in any uniform. If I saw an leather belt/MCMAP belt on any of m troops, the would wished for a beating! An NCO who is not aware of the regulations has a severe problem!SGM Bill FrazerMon, 14 Jan 2019 11:19:33 -05002019-01-14T11:19:33-05:00Response by SSG Martin Petersen made Jan 14 at 2019 2:22 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I wouldn’t want to see a martial arts belt on the ACU uniform, but perhaps the PT uniform, especially when conducting MCMAP.SSG Martin PetersenMon, 14 Jan 2019 14:22:27 -05002019-01-14T14:22:27-05:00Response by 2LT Sal Mortillaro made Aug 24 at 2019 8:58 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>IMO they should be allowed; it is a legitimate “school” noted on your DD214 and boy is that belt definitely earned if you’ve ever been through the several weeks worth of instruction.2LT Sal MortillaroSat, 24 Aug 2019 20:58:29 -04002019-08-24T20:58:29-04:00Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 14 at 2020 6:43 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Former Marine turned Soldier. I got out with a tan belt and it was on my dd214 for the Marines. Army wouldn't add to my ERB because they dont recognize that course (at the time).CW2 Private RallyPoint MemberTue, 14 Jan 2020 18:43:15 -05002020-01-14T18:43:15-05:00Response by SFC James Cameron made Jan 14 at 2020 10:22 PM
