From a personal perspective, I understand that some badges in certain configurations don't look as good, or that when you have four, the collar blocks two of them.

So, why have the reg if it's going to be disregarded? Has the Army shot itself in the foot? Should the Army get rid of badge configurations in DA PAM 670-1? 2015-09-02T01:16:58-04:00 CPT Private RallyPoint Member 934145

So, the new update to the AR/DA PAM now lists the authorized badge configurations (which most people have known for some time).

But, I constantly see leaders wearing the badges however they please. Problem is that leadership isn't well versed in this and therefore ill equipped to make on the spot corrections. More on the spot corrections would be the right way to go. Fix the individual and teach them what is right. Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 2 at 2015 2:20 AM 2015-09-02T02:20:43-04:00 2015-09-02T02:20:43-04:00 2015-09-02T01:16:58-04:00
