should the kill pics of Osama Bin Laden be released to the public? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-the-kill-pics-of-osama-bin-laden-be-released-to-the-public

I was really impacted by 9/11 and my question is this...NY Times published in FULL COLOR the TRADE TOWERS GETTING BLOWN UP! Capturing innocent American Citizens having to basically commit suicide because they did not want to burn to death from the implosion of the buildings.....But the White House feels that the AMERICAN people do not need to see the pictures of Osama Bin Laden actually DEAD! I personally think that they should have done what David did to Goliath, parade his cut off head through the streets.....WHY is my question? Will there ever be a DEMAND to RELEASE the PHOTOS? I am curious how many of you would like to know he actually is DEAD!!! We also do not parade the "death faces" of our military and we ask that others respect that request. The fact the Taliban (and others) desecrates our wounded and KIA is no reason for us to retaliate in kind. That is not who we are as a nation, as a people or as a military. For those that believe we should publish the "death faces" of our enemies may I most strongly suggest you find another career.

For those that insist on seeing the body.......If you cannot accept the word and confirmation of our leadership that OBL is dead - get over yourself. There is a time and place for just about everything - but there is no place for the U.S. to take an enemy and parade his dead body just so those that wish to see and touch may do so. For the U.S. to publicize the picture of any of our dead enemies gives the green light to any of our enemies to do the same to our dead. Is that what you want? If so, then your need to see is certainly outweighed by the needs of the thousands of family members who do NOT want the last image of their loved ones to be of what happened to that family member in harms way.
