Should Warrant Officers be included into Brigade, Battalion, and Company Officer Professional Development programs? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-warrant-officers-be-included-into-brigade-battalion-and-company-officer-professional-development-programs <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I find that most Warrant Officers are forgotten about until their Commanders see that a pacing item has been down for more than 48 hours. I feel that including us in OPD would make us more effective both as Leaders and as Technicians/Pilots. Showing that we are a part of the team makes us want to better that team. I am not speaking for the entire Corps, these are just my thoughts. With that said a lot of whats talk about doesn't really pertain to Warrants. Where it benefits me is it gives me insight of the thought process of O-grades.</div> CW3 Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 19 Apr 2014 12:10:04 -0400 2014-04-19T12:10:04-04:00 Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 19 at 2014 2:50 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-warrant-officers-be-included-into-brigade-battalion-and-company-officer-professional-development-programs?n=106059&urlhash=106059 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Ryan, I also attend the OPDs in my unit and same as above, they usually don't pertain to Warrants too much.  Yes, we are becoming more and more pulled in the direction of officers rather than Technicians, but they usually talk about officer history and PL type tasks.   CW2 Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 19 Apr 2014 14:50:16 -0400 2014-04-19T14:50:16-04:00 Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 19 at 2014 5:03 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-warrant-officers-be-included-into-brigade-battalion-and-company-officer-professional-development-programs?n=106163&urlhash=106163 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Many of us that are recent graduates (techs) have been tasked with PL positions and even XO positions in lieu of our battalion duties as technicians. It's rather taxing but keeps us busy.  CW2 Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 19 Apr 2014 17:03:38 -0400 2014-04-19T17:03:38-04:00 Response by CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana made Feb 12 at 2018 11:28 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-warrant-officers-be-included-into-brigade-battalion-and-company-officer-professional-development-programs?n=3346681&urlhash=3346681 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>CWOs should be included on the TDAs and on MTOEs as Company-Grade officer fills; most are treated in this manner already. Battalions should be equipped with a CW3 level S4 and a CW2 grade officer as Battalion Training Manager. Brigades should have a CW4 logistician and a CW3 Training Manager or S3 Air (Trng). How many of us want to track S-1 procedures? I know I didn&#39;t. If it is something where there is a WO slice to it, then I think it makes both sides of the coin better prepared.
