SGT Butler, I was stationed at Benning and then in Savannah as an intelligence officer. I can tell you that what you learn there will be exponentially more than you would in most other units. They are funded fairly well and the leaders you have the ability to work with are top notch. If there was a position for me to go back to I would.

My advice, go there! RLTW!

I'll echo LTC Monalto's comment. It's an incredible opportunity, with unique training options and not only some of the best leaders, but best junior personnel as well. The selection and training pipeline ensures the men there really want to be there.

Day to day life is different depending on where you go (Regt vs BN), with BN training more episodic.
