Since I am reclassifying to 35G from Hawaii, will I be TDY en route, TDY return, or PCS move?

Currently in Hawaii, will be heading to Fort Huachuca late January or early February for school. Reclassing to 35g, will I be TDY enroute, TDY return, or PCS move? Just trying to figure out how this works since I'm married with kids. Any info or prior experience with the same situation would be great, thanks.

Also, when will I find out my follow on assignment, before school or during?

Howdy Brother,

Not sure about the status (TDY en route, PCS move), although I would assume it to be TDY en route.
Anyway, as long as your family are on your orders (as I am certain they are) the 35G course is long enough to bring dependents, which I highly encourage. I brought my family. We lived in Port Royal Apartments where most of the butter bars were at but there are better places more suitable for BaH.
Your follow on assignment will come during school even for MOS-T (in my experience).
For the record I have not experienced your situation but hope what I said helps.

35G is a PCS length school. You'll receive your orders NLT 90 days prior to course start. Although I think you receive yours 6 months prior to DEROS because you're OCONUS

You will PCS to Fort Huchuaca for the 35G course. You will find out your follow on assignment while attending the course.
