Since my name did not come up on the January promotion list, how can I get this fixed so that my promotion will reflect January 1st?

I'm an 11B, SPC with 380 promotion points. I completed BLC November 21st. And I'm Active Duty Army. My name did not come up on the January promotion list, how can I get this fixed so that my promotion will reflect January 1st. What else do I need to do to insure my name does come up on February.

Ask your 1SG to inquire at the next BN 1SG meeting to find out if it is systemic or just you. My bets are your not the only one waiting and your SPC(p) cohort that made points was larger than the amount of SGT's the Army expected.........so they may have pushed some forwards into the next month or two. And they can also raise the point threshold for next month as well.

Historically E4 and E5 are difficult to manage because that is the rank people hit before their first ETS date and the Army is bad at times at predicting retention over ETS.

Verify that your points are correct on your battalion’s C-10 roster. Your S1 is responsible for making sure it is correct. While you are consulting with S1, ensure your 1059 is in your records. Also make sure your APFT and weapons are up to date on your PPW. I have seen instances where a Soldier has lost their P status because their 705 was never uploaded and “expired”.

You have to find out why it didn't. For some reason you aren't promotable right now. Usually it's an expired APFT or weapons qualification.
Unfortunately, you're no longer able to request to have the mistake corrected to be promoted to the month you should have pinned. However, it is easy for you S1 to reintegrate you into the promotable list for next month.

Check with Personell and review your records. You may not make this list, but the next list with date of rank backdated.

Make sure your 1059 was submitted. If your NCOA submitted it, it may take HRC a bit more time than if you personally took it into S1.
