My understanding is that it&#39;s a local policy. I don&#39;t see the harm in it. There are, of course, those patches that have risqué mottos on them though... I know if left to a vote, the formation would overwhelmingly choose to bring them back, but the Senior Enlisted corps in our state has been a strong opponent to the idea. Some of our guys did overseas, but we haven’t resurrected a Command Supported Policy. It has been more of “do what your career can afford” wear policy. CPT Nicholas D. I know in my unit they were authorized for deployments but not garrison. Although I wasn&#39;t aviation... ha missed that part.
