Don’t just do something because it has a bonus or a place you want to go to. From there, if nursing is a good fit, can decide what really interests you in that field. I think most jobs start off low 20’s starting. Even if there is a shortage in the MOS at your rank level, doesn’t necessarily mean that there will be class seats available. Plenty of people wait months on end for a class seat to open. Not sure of the Army MOS. They are the folks who maintain flight helmets, aircrew parachutes, survival kits, survival vests, and other specialized equipment. Probably not a large MOS but it’s an interesting and fairly clean job. Still close to the aircraft and the aircrew. As in a skill set that can be laterally transferred back into the civilian world once your time is up.
