So my husband had an MEB in basic training with 90 consecutive days. Does he qualify for the GI Bill?

At least 30 continuous days on active duty and discharged due to service-connected disability = 100% vested.

Based on the link, I doubt your husband NOT will qualify. The following criteria must be met:
1.) He enrolled in the MGIB
2.) He had contributed $100.00/month over a 12-month period; and
3.) He must have completed his minimum service obligation.
If your husband did contribute any money during his 90-days, you should expect a reimbursement check matching those contributions. HOWEVER, he may now qualify as a dependent.

The big question is does the Soldier have a service-connected disability? If yes, then yes.

Not necessarily, LTC Yinon Weiss. It could have very well been a pre-existing condition that the military only became aware of during training. It happens pretty often that a dude starts to sleepwalk or has some kind of previously undiagnosed chronic condition (asthema, heart palpitations, joint issues) that cause them to be medically discharged through the MEB process.

LTC Yinon Weiss - That's what the MEB determines. Unless the Soldier did something obvious like breaking a leg falling off an obstacle on the confidence course, it is not a sure thing at all.
