As for your accrued leave till April 1 2016 you should be able to take all leave if granted with proper DA31 to the April 1 date. Check with you post finance office and transition office

Good question! Check with your installation transition office for separations/retirement. Under regulations you can also request up to 20 days PDTY for involuntary separations but your chain of command would have to approve it at a LTC or higher. The PDTY in this case would be for job hunting/transitions and is not an entitlement your chain of command must approve

This week I talked to Ft Campbell's transition office, they stated there are three circumstances that are authorized PDTY when leaving the military. These are approved MED board discharge, regular retirements, and if you are involuntary separated with over 6 year of service. The maximum is 20 days with the chain of command approval 05 or above.

I believe you have to talk to jag as a requirement and they should be able to answer your questions. You could check finance as well. I'm not 100% sure on the information but that's where I would start

Yeah I know- I hope we get answers soon. I asked sgm and his response was you should of had those 2 weeks ago. So obviously no one knows what's going. It's a lot of stress on the family. I feel like I should be good as I see there are many with dui's getting a go. I even saw on here one guy got 2 dui's and didn't even submit paperwork and got retained. So if I don't make it with my company grade article 15 10 years ago and excellent ncoer's ever since somethings severely flawed with the system!

Yeah I agree no one knows what's going on. When I was noticed in April my chain had no clue on the process and still doesn't. Seems like an epic fail in army training lol. Either way hope I hear something today. Good or bad, I'm ready to close this chapter and move on
