Both of them West Point graduates. Griest, a 26-year-old military police officer from Orange, Connecticut, and Haver, a 25-year-old Apache helicopter pilot from Coppers Cove, Texas, will get their Ranger Tabs alongside 94 male counterparts in a Georgia ceremony on Friday in Fort Benning.

With no Doubt they have proven themselves. This isn't something that you just realize one day that I am going to do. Both of them put their time and are now Rangers.

Kudos to them both.

First female soldiers to graduate from Army Ranger School identified

Capt Shaye Haver and 1st Lt Kristen Griest will become the first female soldiers to graduate from the Army's elite Ranger School on Friday alongside 94 male counterparts.

Congratulations are in order to not only the first females to become Rangers but also to the males who also became Rangers ! in my opinion they are among the elite in the military ! I wish them all well in their military career .

congrats to the 2 First ever Female Rangers! They have not only succeeded in an endeavour that less than 1% of the 1% even attempt, They have broken the mold and opened the minds of people everywhere.

Recycled how many times? Used to be none. Standards were much higher. Why have they been lowered? Used to be Best of the Best Now with Soo many chances to Recycle now just an obstacle course get enough chances most anybody passes. Army has given up Quality for Quantity. SAD
