How many U's in a 12 month period did they accrue? I've been in the Reserves a long time and I have never heard of an MFR to remove U's from the record. I wouldn't even advise you to remove a "U" that another CDR gave without speaking to them first.

The "U's" roll off after 365 days for separation consideration; the reason they are trying to get them off is either prepare to "retire" them or clean up some ARCAMs. I would let your 1SG work with them to dig up any paperwork that ~might~ exist for exusals or RST. Then, if they want them off, their CDR and MACOM can assume the risk of sorting through all the paperwork. Having one less "U" doesn't grant a retirement point. CPT Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 09 Sep 2025 18:20:21 -0400 2025-09-09T18:20:21-04:00 2025-09-08T20:08:05-04:00
