Rally Point I see a trend, past childhood trauma, Military family service, and addictions in the senior ranks to medicate their PTSD.

I was injured in while on Duty. I know from personal experience they kept doing surgeries and giving me pain pills. Some years later I was having problems in my marriage and he was a solider. I realized the pills helped with my emotional pain and physical pain. The military did not try to help me. I still struggle with it at times. It Is hard to overcome but with support you can do it.

I being this to the front, I have been to several commands and three to four Soldiers have committed suicide. In the same command we have several senior NCO's that are coming up hot. I look at their family history and I see that every generation has served. I see the commonality that many have childhood PTSD, or have served in a combat area. I am asking for Leaders to bring awareness and integrate outside VA sources in their trainings during BA assemblies and mission readiness.
