In my service in the National Guard, when my armed forces ID card expired, I had to go to the air base to renew it. I asked them why they did not note my rank as specialist, it was printed as a corporal. Which one was correct? My unit did not raise any cain or attempt to make me correct it. What should I consider it to be?
