Spirit of America uses crowdsourcing to get troops basic stuff they need in the field. But it's illegal. Thoughts?

Logical extension of the time-honored practice of armies' appropriation of occupied resources, foraging (thieving) of materiel, and relying on civilian vendors for such as horses, food, etc. Review the role of the quartermaster in history, and it's not so different than a family making sure that their serving warrior is rationally equipped.
