Yet I was never contacted by whoever my sponsor is. What am I suppose to do whenever I fly out to my unit? Sponsor for new unit? 2014-02-18T21:06:03-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 59990 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Last time I contacted my unit at Fort Campbell (Blanchfield) I spoke to a sergeant that assigned me a sponsor and told me that they would contact me the next day. Another approach you can take is with some of the on-post helping agencies. Seems weird, but when you walk into a place like the education office or MWR, there&#39;s usually a civilian or veteran working there who wants nothing more than to help a young soldier out. These folks know more about living in the local area than just about anyone in the Screaming Eagles...
