State OCS pay regulation change?

I’m thinking about attending state OCS and read that you’re paid as an E6 while attending. Then was told that effective FY19 it’ll be lowered to E5 pay to be more online with the federal program. Does anyone know if this is true? I can’t find the regulation change on it anywhere. I’m an AGR soldier so will need to know when I propose my OCS attendance to my COC.

Accelerated state pays at E6. Traditional state pays at E5.

I haven't heard of any proposed changes to that. I'm AGR and have worked closely with recruiting in the past year.

I believe that this may vary by state. I am a recent graduate of the traditional program this year and was paid as an E-6. So depending on your state it may change.

Interesting. I know Federal OCS at Ft Benning pays their candidates at the E5 level. I can ask some friends that just started the state traditional OCS program.
